Our three level lobby is open and airy with floor to ceiling windows, skylight and open staircase. State-of-the-art acoustics allow for conversation, music and guest speakers. Attendees on all Atrium levels will easily hear and see your speaker at the lobby level. Capacity: 250 seated, 400 reception flow with cocktail tables. Planners who have attended events in our atrium give it an incredible “thumbs up.”

The lobby serves as the entrance for our 1800 seat Crouse Hall events. We accommodates guests with strategically located small round tables. Food & Beverage stations are available during events. VIP Receptions are hosted pre-event and during intermission on the third level of the Crouse Lobby. Your guests can relax and watch the event activity.

With a capacity of 1800 seats the Crouse Performance Hall provides expertly designed seating to allow unobstructed views of the stage.  The dimensions of the performance stage alone are 108’ x 53’.  There is something magical about hosting a reception on the stage. The stage area and Pit Space is included in the Crouse Hall Rental Package. Standard rental fees include basic lighting, podium, microphone and curtain. We will work with you to create a plan that meets your budget and conference needs.

The Veterans Memorial Civic & Convention Center stands in Lima’s Town Square and is the hub of the community’s cultural life. It is the primary public assembly facility in West Central Ohio. 

The Veterans Memorial Civic Center includes a 14,000 sq ft Exhibit Hall, 14 meeting areas, 1800 seat performing arts center, and banquet facility.

 The Convention Center is connected to the 100-room Wingate by Wyndham and to the Market Street Parking Garage. Entire events can be accomplished under roof, merging big city convenience and style with small market affordability.



Floor to ceiling windows and massive skylight accent this space with open stairways and a view of Lima’s Town Square. This space has a capacity of 125 people seated or 200 people reception flow with cocktail tables. Standard rental fees include microphone, tables and linens. A charming area with views of the square, “Windows” has a capacity of 100 people seated or 200  people reception style with high rounds or bistro tables. For private balcony group seating, Windows on the Balcony offers a private space for your guests. Guests can move in and out of the balcony with ease.  The Mezzanine level has a seating capacity of 100 or 200 people reception flow style with cocktail tables.

Our outdoor patio is conveniently accessed from the Wingate by Wyndham Hotel and the convention center offering a private space to unwind or have a quaint get-together.



The Convention Center has a 57,000’ blueprint. In addition to the Crouse Performance Hall and Lobby areas, it offers the North, Center and South Exhibit Halls for easy trade show or meeting space. Along with a green room and lounge, there are 18 + additional breakout rooms , the majority with natural lighting and private outside entrance.



Crouse Hall, Lima's world-class performing arts center and lecture auditorium, offers a wide array of catering, banquet and meeting options. The visionary for this performance venue, Virginia Crouse, shared her passion for the arts by leading the way for the development of a venue that is comparable to some of the world's best facilities. Crouse Hall is not only a venue for your activities, it is the home of the renowned Lima Symphony Orchestra. Originating in 1954, the Lima Symphony Orchestra offers the popular LSO series performed by 75 professional musicians and world class guest artists. The Lima Symphony Orchestra performances also include the annual Bells, Brass & Bows Holiday Show and New Year's Eve Pop Concert. Meeting planners that have added an LSO performance to their creative conference experience come away entertained and astounded by attendee reaction.

The fairgrounds campus is incredibly easy to access as it conveniently sits on the north-south I-75  interchange. You will be amazed by the ease of movement and travel. As you arrive at the facility, waiting to welcome you is a dynamic staff of professionals who want to offer their community spirit of “let’s make it happen.”

All of this plus a variety of full service and select service hotels all within two miles of the fairgrounds.



Allen County Fairgrounds

The Schmidhorst Pavilion is conveniently located on the campus of the Allen County Fairgrounds and minutes from ample lodging, shopping and dining. With its friendly and highly competent staff, the team looks forward to providing the same outstanding customer service in the operation of the Schmidthorst Pavilion as any other area of the fairgrounds. The Pavilion plays host to regional and national equine shows, bull riding competitions, cattle shows and many other special events.

Located on the campus of the Allen County Fairgrounds, The Nutrien Events Center is 35,700 sq. ft. of trade show/meeting space. All heated with portions air conditioned, the event center offers a connected walkway and boasts a fully functional kitchen. Of course, catering is an option with a caterer of your choice or selected from a preferred list of local caterers. The Nutrien Events Center is the Fairgrounds most recent renovated facility and provides clients with a modern, clean and highly functional space for a variety of events and shows.
