Your time is valuable. We offer meeting planners touring the Veterans Memorial Civic & Convention Center a 30 minute Meet & Greet Reception. You will see first-hand our commitment to working together to host an outstanding conference or event for you and your attendees.


The VMCCC offers a complimentary registration kiosk for your event, and the staff is trained to provide assistance with registration.  We want our visitors to have a great experience, and a welcome booth is staffed according to your direction. It will be maintained with information throughout your conference or event.

The Greater Lima Region Tourism team is here for you and your guests to help make your conference experience a successful one. Representatives from the CVB and VMCC staff will partner to assist with convention escorts, signage, directions and coffee & water stations.  We can also provide an account manager to facilitate and assist with your conference planning.


A glass enclosed skywalk connects the Veterans Memorial Civic & Convention Center to the downtown parking garage. The skywalk stairs or elevator brings attendees right to the registration kiosk in the heart of your conference activity. There is ample street parking, as well as complimentary parking at all Allen County hotels.

The Wingate by Wyndham Hotel is conveniently connected to the Veterans Memorial Civic & Convention Center in the heart of downtown Lima.  The hotel lobby can also serve as an information center for your attendees. There is additional meeting space and complimentary parking available for Wingate guests.


The VMCCC can provide assistance with a preferred catering list that can meet all your dining needs. Additional qualified outside caterers may also be utilized. The convention center operates two full kitchens and one semi-full kitchen. We know that some meeting planners like to do special F&B preparations. Whatever your needs, we will work to ensure your guests have an experience that will leave them more than satisfied.



As per your direction, fully staffed concession areas with café/bistro settings for your guests are available. You can determine what products are offered. Water stations can also be provided in high activity areas during your conference, expo or event. Complimentary early-bird coffee is also provided for your early set-up team and registration staff.  For your convenience professionally staffed private bar and lounge areas may be placed in several multi-functional spaces throughout the facility. Food is also available including complimentary bar snacks
