CORONA VIRUS/COVID-19 UPDATES

Visit Greater Lima is committed to our mission of growing our travel and tourism economy; however the health and well-being of our community, visitors and team are a priority. With the outbreak of the coronavirus (COVID-19) we are taking precautionary steps to flatten the COVID-19 curve by cancelling all unnecessary activities and working from remote locations until further notice. This is being done as a preventative measure out of the need to be cautious. However our expectation is that daily operations, though altered, will not be interrupted.

Our team will continue to monitor the situation in conjunction with our state, county and city government and health officials as well as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

Please know that Visit Greater Lima’s commitment to providing the utmost service to our visitors and tourism industry partners remains a high priority as we try to do our part to curb the spread of this virus and protect the health of our community and visitors.

We will provide updates to the information on our website and its calendar of events, as well as through social media channels with timely information as it happens.

If you are a restaurant and are offering specials on takeout food for example, please let us know so we can post on social media to help drive as much business as possible to your location. We are still hard at work to secure and maintain business for our community and are here to support and help our partners in any way we can through this unprecedented time.
