Tourism is a team effort in Lima/Allen County, and our partnerships with local organizations allow us to provide you with a full array of things to do and places to go during your stay. We’re here to welcome you and provide you with a full community experience.

Our hotels, restaurants, attractions, cultural events and retail establishments all work to make your visit a memorable one. Whether you are traveling alone, with a group event or convention, or on a group tour, we have the team in place to meet your needs and exceed your expectations.
In 2015 the Regional Transit Authority (RTA) acquired a refurbished 1991 Chance trolley from Tecumseh, Michigan for the purpose of using it for community functions, community events and events for nonprofit organizations.

Shuttle service to and from area hotels during events at the Veterans Memorial Civic & Convention Center, the Allen County Fairgrounds and other event facilities may be provided. The Trolley is utilized in annual community events such as the Lima Lantern Tours in October and the 4th of July Celebration, Lima’s Star Spangled Spectacular.
